These steps will walk you through creating a new Google My Business profile, adding your practice details, and granting Dental Marketing the necessary access to optimize your listing for local SEO.

Go to business.google.com.

In the top right, click your circle avatar and make sure you’re logged into the Gmail account you want to own the Google My Business profile.

If you’re already in the correct Gmail account, no action is needed.

If not, switch to the correct Gmail account at this stage.

Click 'Start Now'.

Under 'Get your business discovered on Google Search, Maps and more', enter your practice name in the 'Business Name' field.

Select 'Create a business with this name', then click Continue.

For 'Choose your business type', select 'Local Store', then click 'Next'.

For 'Enter a business category', type in 'Dental clinic', select it from the dropdown, and click 'Next'.

For 'Enter your business address', enter your full practice address, then click 'Next'.

For 'Is this your business?', select 'None of these', then click 'Next'.

For 'What contact details do you want to show to customers?', enter your practice phone number and your website URL (formatted as
www.yourdomain.com
), then click 'Next'. -
For 'Put your business on the map', click 'Continue'.

If prompted with Verification, follow the instructions to verify your business. If no verification is required, click 'Next'.

For 'Add business hours', enter your practice operating hours, then click 'Next'.

For 'Add business description', click 'Skip' (Dental Marketing will optimize this for you).

For 'Add photos of your business', upload any available photos of you (the doctor) and/or your practice, then click 'Next'.

For 'Claim your $1,000 advertising credit', click 'Skip'.

If you see 'Your edits will be visible once you’re verified', click 'Continue'.

Once your profile is created, click the three small gray dots in the middle of the screen and follow these steps to grant Dental Marketing access so we can optimize your profile for local SEO.
