How do I share access to my existing Google Analytics property with DentalMarketing.com?
This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to share access to an existing Google Analytics property with the DentalMarketing.com team.
Typically, we create Google Analytics (GA) properties internally to ensure full control and management, tailored to our clients' needs. However, in certain cases, we may request access to your existing GA property to gain insight into your site’s historical performance. To manage your existing GA property effectively, we require two types of access: the first allows us full administrative control, and the second enables us to connect your GA property to our dashboard for seamless data sharing.
- Log into Google Analytics and navigate to the appropriate GA property
- Click the gear icon in the bottom left to access the 'Admin' settings
- Click on 'Property Access Management'
- Click the blue '+' in the top right to add a new user
- First, enter team@dentalmarketing.com and select 'Administrator' access
- Second, enter dental-marketing-api@dental-marketing-417314.iam.gserviceaccount.com and select 'Viewer' access
- Once the appropriate users have been added to the GA property, please notify your OB Specialist so the team can review and confirm access
