What Is Meta’s Lead Center?
The Lead Center is a built-in tool in Meta Business Suite that allows you to view, organize, and follow up with leads collected from Facebook and Instagram Lead Ads — all in one centralized dashboard.
You can:
- View all submitted lead forms
 - Update lead statuses (New, Contacted, Qualified, etc.)
 - Add notes for each contact
 - Export lead data to Excel or your CRM
 
How to Access the Lead Center
- Go to https://business.facebook.com.
 - You can log in with the account connected to your business.
 - If you manage multiple Business Managers, select the correct one from the dropdown menu.
 - In the left-hand menu, click “Lead Center.”
- If you don’t see it, click “All Tools” → “Lead Center” (found under Sell Products and Services or Engage Customers).
 
 - If prompted, select the Facebook Page connected to your lead form ads.
 
Tip: You must have the proper Page Access and Leads Access permissions to view or download leads.
How to View and Manage Leads
Once inside the Lead Center:
View Leads
- All leads appear in a list with details such as name, email, phone number, and submission date.
 
View Individual Lead Details
- Click on a specific lead to see all submitted form responses.
 - Add internal notes about calls, emails, or meetings.
 
Filter Leads
- Use the filters at the top to sort by:
- Date range
 - Form name
 - Lead status (New, Contacted, Qualified, etc.)
 
 
Update Lead Status
Keeping your statuses updated helps organize your pipeline and signals the algorithm which leads are higher quality.

How to Download or Export Leads
If you want to manage leads outside Meta:
- In the Lead Center, click “Download” in the top-right corner.
 - Select your desired date range.
 - Export leads as a .CSV (Excel) file.
 - Open the file in Excel or upload it to your CRM.
 
⚠️ You must have Lead Access permission to download leads. If you don’t see this option, contact your Page Admin.
Best Practices for Managing Leads
- Respond quickly: Contact new leads within 24 hours for the highest conversion rates.
 - Keep statuses updated: Helps track progress and improves algorithm optimization.
 - Add notes consistently: Document every touchpoint for better follow-up.
 
Integrate with your CRM: Use Meta’s CRM integration for real-time lead sync.
Troubleshooting Access Issues
If you can’t find or access the Lead Center:
- Verify that you are using Meta Business Suite, not the personal Facebook app.
 - Ensure your campaign objective is Lead Generation.
 - Check that your Page is connected to the correct Ad Account.
 - Confirm you have Admin or Leads Access permissions.
