How to Install UseBasin into Webflow projects.

This article will guide you step by step on how to setup and use the anti-spam software we use for our clients.

1. Login to UseBasin:

  • Log in using Chris' credentials.

2. Create a New Project:

  • Condition: Ensure the client does not already have UseBasin installed on their forms.
  • Project Name: Use the dental practice's name.
  • Allowed Domains: Add the practice's domain in the "Allowed Domains" section.
  • Timezone: Set the timezone to the practice’s local time.

3. Create and Configure a New Form:

  • Project: Create a new form within the project you just created.
  • Backend Settings: Set the form to be handled in the backend settings.
  • General Settings: Configure a redirect to the "Thank You" page if applicable.

4. Email Setup:

  • Recipient Email: Initially, use your email for testing. Once confirmed, replace it with the client’s email(s). Separate multiple emails with commas.
  • Email Title: Set the title, e.g., Dental Practice | New Lead from Dental Marketing!.
  • Sender: Set the sender as Dental Marketing.
  • Dashboard Settings: Click the "Hide" button to hide the form from the UseBasin dashboard.

5. Integrate UseBasin with Webflow:

  • Find the Form: Locate the form in the Webflow project where you want to integrate UseBasin.
  • Form Action Setup:
    • In the form’s "Action" text box, paste the UseBasin form URL.
    • Change the form method from GET to POST.
  • Apply Changes: Repeat this for each form that is receiving spam to ensure it's properly connected to UseBasin.
