                  - Add “OC -” to the beginning of the campaign name

- - Pause the campaign, add “ZZZ -” to the beginning of the name, and change the budget to $1/day if it does not meet the criteria above

- **Account Labels**
    - Add necessary account labels in Google Ads (at MCC-level under Accounts \> Performance \> Account Labels) based on the following guidance:
          - If it's a client-owned site (vs. one created by our team), add "**Client-Owned Site**" label
          - If the practice is located outside the US, add a country label based on their location (i.e. "**Canada**", "**Mexico**", "**Ireland**", etc.)
          - If it's a Spanish client, add "**Spanish**" label
          - If there are no GTM scripts on the site currently, add "**No GTM**" label
- **HubSpot**
    - In the [HS Company Dashboard](https://app.hubspot.com/contacts/22697387/objects/0-2/views/all/list), search for the client and complete the following:
          - Account Currency

          - Google Ads Pacing Agent - Select 'Yes'
          - Google Negative Keywords - Select 'Yes'
          - Google Ads ID (in XXX-XXX-XXXX format)
- **Final Updates**
    - Set up the dashboard
          - Search for account in the [Admin portal of the dashboard](https://admin.dentalmarketing.com/admin/accounts), then go to 'Integrations'
                  - Enable 'Google Ads' integration by selecting the proper Google Ads account
                  - Enable 'Google Analytics' integration by adding the Google Analytics 'Property ID' (in Google Analytics, under 'Admin' \> 'Property Details' \> 'Property ID' is in the top-right)
                  - If not already enabled, enable 'Google Place' integration by searching for the practice's GMB profile
                  - Enable the 'Website' integration by adding the practice URL
                  - Ensure 'Twilio' is enabled
                  - Ensure 'User Portal' and 'AI' are both enabled

- - Add practice to the [Launch Tracker Spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XV7d51WhaikvqFgaGHH6w2ucxwIEA5auVI5V6sAGn_Q/edit?usp=sharing)
          - **Note:** Add the date the campaigns were fleshed out in the note column and update the date they launched later when the campaigns are actually set live

- - Leave the campaigns paused for now
    - In the #customer-marketing-digital channel, add a note that the account is "ready for QA" including any special notes about the launch and tag the team member assigned to QA this launch (if you aren't sure who is assigned to QA, ask the Paid Search Lead)

- - In the Slack channel, add a note that the account is "fully fleshed out on Google Ads at $X budget - pending green light to go live", include notes on any pending items (i.e. Advertiser Verification, conversion tracking issues, mentions of "Botox" on site, etc.), and tag the OB specialist
          - **Note:** If there are any pending items, please add them to the [Priority List](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1a8BtU1xBnmP_aInY4Wtgkvj3zoYec_raMvCeO9auP20/edit?usp=sharing) as well so we can continue to follow up on them until resolved

- - If we have the green light to go live from the OB specialist/CSM, set the campaigns LIVE, update the launch date in the [Launch Tracker](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XV7d51WhaikvqFgaGHH6w2ucxwIEA5auVI5V6sAGn_Q/edit?usp=sharing), confirm in the task and practice Slack channel that the account "is now LIVE on Google Ads at a $X budget" tagging the channel, and then mark the task as 'Complete'

### **Part 2 - Post-Launch Optimizations & Importing Goals**

- **Pin Ad Copy Headlines and Exclude Competitor's Terms**
    - Follow the steps in this [SOP](https://grow.dentalmarketing.com/university/how-do-i-complete-googleads-optimizations?hsLang=en) to complete Part 2 of the Google Ads launch process.
          - **Note:** There is a separate task triggered for these optimization steps specifically.
- **Set Campaign Allocations in [Budget Pacing Agent](https://seo-content-portal-seven.vercel.app/)**
    - Campaign allocations are only required for accounts with **more than 1 active campaign**
          - If there is only one active campaign, no allocations need to be set
    - If there are no existing allocation guidelines, use your best judgment based on the account structure and campaign goals
          - As a general guideline, aim to allocate no more than **20–30% of the total monthly budget** to **Performance Max** campaigns
                  - **Example:** For an account with a **$2,500/month budget** and one **Local Dentistry** campaign plus one **Performance Max** campaign:
                            - Local Dentistry: **$2,000/month (80%)**
                            - Performance Max: **$500/month (20%)**
- **Mark Key Events in Google Analytics (Note: This step needs to be done the following day)**
    - Go into GA4 and check for the relevant events
          - 'Admin' \> 'Events' \> 'Recent Events' \> Check for *"Click - Phone Number"* and *"Submit - Contact Form"* (if applicable, you may also need to check for "*Click - Booking Widget*", "*Click - Email*", or *"Typeform Submit"*)
                  - **Note:** Only toggle on the events that we track as conversions in Google Ads.
          - Star these events to track as key events
